Ginger Beetle

  • Steep 6 bags ginger tea in 1 quart water

  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger 

  • 1 cider beetle

  • Simmer until sugar has dissolved and orange is soft. Serve hot.

~For extra cheer~

  • Add a dash of spiced rum or brandy.

  • Serve in hollowed apple with cinnamon stick garnish.

Pom-Cran Beetle

  • 8 cups Pom-Cran juice 

  • 1 cider beetle

  • Simmer until sugar has dissolved and orange is soft. Serve hot.

 

~For extra cheer~

  • Add a dash of spiced rum or brandy.

  • Serve in hollowed apple with cinnamon stick garnish.

Cocktail with Orange Slice

Cardamon Beetle

  • Steep 6 bags black tea in 1 quart water

  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamon powder (or 2 seed pods)

  • 1 cider beetle 

  • Simmer until sugar has dissolved and orange is soft. Serve hot.

  • Add a dash of spiced rum or brandy.

  • Serve in hollowed apple with cinnamon stick garnish.

Star Anise Beetle

  • ​Steep 6 bags black tea in 1 quart water 

  • 2 star anise pods 

  • 1 cider beetle

  • Simmer until sugar has dissolved and orange is soft. Serve hot.
